i was checking some website this morning while slacking a little bit from work when i found this poll... it made me happy somehow that i was still included in the group of 20 something... but then i realized that this is supposed to be the last year of that twenty something thing... because next year i will have 34... and 34 is already with people until 41 years old!! my goodness, almost nearer the 40 something group than 30 something already.... ay.... i dont want to get old... but i want to grow old with you mahal ko

Happy Saint ate Marile and Mama!

Mama and ate Marile had their Saint's day today. The day of Dolores, the Virgin. Dolores means pain in Spanish and She is the Virgin that express all the pain that She as a mother suffered when Her son Jesus died. Ate Marile and mama are both called Dolores, so this is her day and both Lhot and I want to give them a very special congratulations.

Marile got a very nice picture in a frame of Granada, where papa and mama spent a few days some weeks ago.





And Mama got a very nice bag that Marile bought and that she liked a lot:

The captor surrendered to the police and the kids and teachers were freed after a long long day. What it was supposed to be a trip to Tagaytay, a popular amusement area in the South of Manila by the lake and volcano Taal, with a weather more fresh that in the capital, ended up being a nightmare for many parents, a new adventure for 24 kids to tell to their friends and a day that none of them will ever forget...

The Innocence and Naivety of Kids.

a.k.a. The Marvelous World of Children

Today there was a kidnapping of 32 kids in Metro Manila. The story is really sad.

A man, Armando Ducat, the owner of a nursery,Musmos Day Care, wants to help the 145 pupils of his nursery, and he is asking to be allowed to have a vigil with candles to ask for free registration fees for pupils and improvements on the education system.He wrote his request in front of the bus.



Here it is a new case of asking for the right thing, looking for the right goal with the wrong means.

He said what he wanted for the children was education “because if they were educated they would have discipline and would not become drug addicts.”

“I am appealing to you to give me a chance to speak. You are witnesses to the political dynasties, the rampant stealing in government. Because of this, our dream of progress for the country will not be realized,” Ducat said.

“Aren’t we ashamed of ourselves? We are a country who believes in God and yet we are ungodly in our actions,” he said.

“President Arroyo is fighting corruption, we should unite with her,” he added.

The thing is that the kids in the bus, for them, this is looking like something extraordinary, something exciting, they don't even understand what's all the fuss with this. You can see their faces so thrilled, with a little bit of fear, all mixed, because the novelty of the situation, they were going to go to class on a normal day and now they are surrounded by people on a bus with a man yelling with a grenade in his hand, with a uzi machine gun and a .45 caliber pistol. It is like a movie for them.





Children live in their own reality, that's what so wonderful about them and that's why they can make us feel full of illusion, because they give us that part of life that we can only find in dreams. But reality is reality and adults are very well aware of it, we got used to because of all the sufferings that we have endured in our lives. So, this is the other side of reality, the real one.
The mothers and fathers of those kids are all worries and sufferings.

All these kids that you can see are all around 5 years old, as a teacher said, even one of the supervisors offered to bring ice cream to the kids, but Ducat refused. This Ducat man was the same that kidnapped two priests on 1989, because of some repairs on a church.
And the authorities don't know yet what to do, senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla is negotiation with the kidnapper;

“Sinabi niyang hindi siya mananakit. Ibigay lang ang gusto niya. Lalong tatagal ito kung hindi niyo siya papayagan [He said that he would not harm anyone for as long as his demands would be given. This will take longer if we do not give what he wants],” said Revilla.

And it looks like he was able to take one kid from the bus,

Simon Pacheco, was freed because he was running a fever and was brought to the hospital by an ambulance, authorities said.

Let's pray that all ends well, because as we say here, "it is good all that it ends well".

The evolution of the tabachingching ^_^

This is going to be a funny post. Actually, not really funny but odd.
When i was checking the videos that I took of mama and papa with the computer I saw old videos from when I was in Mexico and in Madrid. I left Madrid in 2005, in Christmas, the year that Lhot came here, and we came to Ferrol to live with my parents.
In January 2006, I started working for Softtek, the same company I am now working for and I went to Mexico for one month and a week, as a training for the support that I was going to give in Coruña.

So the deal after all this talk is that I am going to post some videos related to these times of my life, you can clearly see, clear as water that I definitely grew fatter! the tabachoy in capitals!

Mama and Papa with the computer

Now, this was funny. Mama is now going to computer science classes, and she is learning about Microsoft word, it is nice because they can practice with the computer and get use to it. So, when they are at home they are going to my sister's room, because we have an old computer there that she used to use when she was living here, long ago.
Yesterday, when I came from the office I saw mama going to the room of Marile, and it surprised me a lot that she was there teaching papa on how to do the things that she learnt on that day.



Actually, the videos are really really bad, but it can give an idea of how it was. I took them with my mobile because the cam is there with Lhot.

Last Monday I was surprised when I arrived to the office. I saw Sergio with one big big hat, that it had Guinness written on it. It was really funny. Then I saw Ramón, another team mate, with a big hat too. There were three of them and indeed it was nice to smile on a Monday morning.

Felix with the tongue outside

Felix was looking so cute today. He was all sleepy on top of a chair here in the kitchen, and he was so so sleepy that suddenly he put his tongue out of the mouth. And so much like I had never seen him before. Even papa was laughing.

Sorry for the bad pics, but I was in a hurry because I knew that it was not going to last. And it did not, LOL. 2 seconds after the next pic he put his tongue inside. Besides, my phone is not high end or anything, but it works nice and I like it.

St. Patrick's Day @ Ohio

Lhot went to Columbus in Ohio to spend the weekend with her friend Ate Leng. They were celebrating St. Patrick's Day, a good excuse to hang out and spend some time with good friends celebrating ^_^



All so green, even the drinks. I was not able to talk to her too long on the weekend, but I am sure she had a very very nice time.
They were even able to go to a very nice restaurant, one of those American nice restaurants where you eat a lot and very nice.



So, I think that Lhot will blog about it in multiply one of these days, but anyways,
I wanted to say here....

It is already late here, hehe, around 1:30 AM, so it is time to go to bed, my lonely bed :) I hope Lhot is enjoying her Saturday night, and tomorrow is another day, ay... it is just one week since she left.. and it looks like a year already.. I was commenting the same with Lhot and she agreed, she said it was like a year already or so. But oh well, the thing is that time goes on and that soon she will be here again. Besides I am sure that this is really good for us too. Every new day is better in our love and our lives.

Ghost Rider

While Lhot is with ate Leng spending the weekend, I am spending the weekend here in Ferrol. Tonight we went to the movies to watch Ghost Rider, I wanted to wait for Lhot to be here and watch it, but then I noticed that ate Marile was a little bit sad and that she did not want to to go out with her friends. So, there we went to Odeon, the "big" mall here in Ferrol. The movie was as expected, plenty of action. With a very bad beginning with very dull dialogs and acting, the second part of the movie is excellent, with very good moments of action and excellent special effects. Right after the movie,it finished at 11:30, it lasted for one and a half hours, I came home and Marile and Faber went to have dinner. It is funny because I am using a dictionary that corrects the vocabulary to post this, and of course it detects Marile as a mistake, but it accepts Faber, hehe, I wonder why....

Mama so funny with the cards

It was funny. I just came from the bathroom to the kitchen and then I saw mama with a few cards in her hand. She was watching straight at the TV, with a funny face, so cute, and then I looked at the TV and this galitzian magician was there doing a trick of magic with cards, and mama was doing the same, because he was telling people there on the show to try it!



I was already laughing, and at the end the trick didn't work.. to all the people there in the show and to mama, and then the magician said that he was just teasing people or something like that.



Then Felix came to the chair looking for mama and yelling like crazy, but mama went to wash the dishes and Felix had to stay alone :) But now he is on the lap of mama at the end! perseverance is the true key to success, hehe

En la cocina con papa

Here I am with papa in the kitchen, mama went to bolillo and papa is reading the newspaper that I brought from him from the university when having lunch. Papa is doing quite good and I think he is happy I am with him here, so he is not alone. We are watching the contests in the TV, one very similar to Do you want to be a millionaire, and another one in the Cuatro channel that it is called Money, Money.

I really like the host, he is very funny and he looks like a nice guy.
Then papa was fixing before one thing to put in the harvest that they are doing in their house in the country :) It was funny before because he bought a shirt in Alcampo and I saw it before and I asked him if it is for me, he was smiling and told me that it is not, hehe. It is very nice and he said that it was still in rebajas. 4 euros! can you believe? he didn't try yet, it is 42/43... :) a ver

It is almost 9 and soon we will be watching Los hombre de Paco on TV, que guay! I am going to record it for Lhot, and then we can watch Los Hombres de Paco y los Serrano when she is back. I cant wait!
I was still trying to talk to her on sametime, but she is looking away because she told me that she is going to spend some time after having lunch with the bosses, uh uh, on the server's room, I just hope she is not having a hard time with the cold, since usually in those places it is cold

Felix just left... he was all mimoso and malanbing after having dinner, they have those whiskas, and now he is back, too bad that he is not eating because papa is getting mad and so. And then he was jumping twice on my lap! and as i am so allergic lately i had to put him down... :(
Pobrecito! pero bueno,
he is also very señorito :P


And mama just came! She bought many things in Alcampo,that's why she was late. She bought two camisetas for me! And she also bought a lot of food for Felix. It is funny because she bought that little bottle of milk for cats :D. Lhot and I saw that before in Alcampo. It is looking very cute. And she put it on the food of Felix, on the whiskas, mira tu.

Bueno, so that it is, I hope this mix of spanish and english will still make sense, hehe, now that we are all here, am sure that we will have lunch soon, and mama and papa will start telling me "deja eso!" :) Ah, and mama also bought the same food that we were buying for yandra. But too bad that she did not eat. Don't know why.

Today I tried the shirt that mama and papa bought in the SPA here for me, it's really nice, green, with squares. It was really nice, though mama was complaining to me because she says that I am too fat O_O
It was a very busy day at work, with lots of issues, but I was still able to talk to Lhot for a little bit! :) I am still looking at her place in the office from time to time, and even JC looks a little bit sadder.. ay.. bueno... that's life :) anyways I am happy that the people there in Ohio are nice, in the hotel, in the office, and she is already making good friends :)
We are always lucky at the end :) and soon she will be here with me again.

Vicente in Ferrol - Views from the mountain

Lhot was going to post some videos in her youtube account, then when I was transfering the pics of my mobile to the laptop I found this video and I thought it would be a good idea to put it here.
It was taken last summer when Vicente, one of my best friends, from Valencia came to visit Lhot and me to Ferrol. Then among one of the many places that we went in those five days, it is this beautiful place in the mountains where you can see a whole video of the city, 360 degrees....

A sad saturday...

Yesterday, every thing was sad around... it all started when i woke up, sleepy and sneezing (as always).
Then Lhot was around preparing things for the trip going to Ohio, all the cases and so, all the things that she had to review so she will not forget anything.
We went to Coruña's airport, and when we got there we had to wait quite a while, while the girl on the tickets counter had to prepare the ticket. After she had the ticket, we waited for a little while, it was hard and sad, but finally Lhot went to the boarding area. Mama and I were able to see her for a little while, but finally she had to go to the plain...



Then mama and I left to see the plane taking off, we took the car from the parking, I paid and we stopped in the road, where we had seen some people before when going to the airport, they were there looking at the planes, now it was our turn, we stopped and started looking, there it was the plane! Mama saw it first, it was soooo small, mama got scared, she said the ears of Lhot were going to hurt with all the noise because of the noise of the engines. Pobrecita mi baby.



The plane was going slow first, mama even thought it was going to take off already going so slow, so she yelled, but it went just to one of the sides of the airport, then suddenly it started to run fast and it took off! Geez, so noisy it was with those engines.

The mama and I left. We stopped in Pontedeume to have coffee ,and while we were there I called vodafone to ensure that Lhot was able to receive and make calls while being abroad. After that, I took also note of how she has to call here, the procedure. Then, when we left the cafeteria I thought of calling Lhot already, since as per my calculations she was already in Lisboa. She was having a lot of trouble there, but a lot.... if she decides to make a blog entry in her blog of multiply she will say more :). But finally and after what it looked a century... she called me to tell us she was already in the plane going to New York.





When I got home, I was checking the flight numbers to see how the plane was doing, and I saw that it was on time :)
So at 7:20 PM here, as scheduled the plane was already there!

Then we were able to talk a little bit more, I was so happy every thing had gone well so far...

She even took very nice pictures that you can check on our Flickr profile



After we had dinner. I was already worried again.. it was not until I read an email that she was not able to call me, that I was not relieved again. I called my asawa at the moment, and we were able to give a very very sweet good night! :)
